The honest answer first
There is no fully automatic clipboard sync between an iPhone and a Windows PC. Not from Apple, not from Microsoft, not from us. iOS doesn't allow apps to read the clipboard in the background — a privacy rule, and a reasonable one. Any tool that claims invisible iPhone clipboard sync is overselling.
What you can have is the next best thing: the Windows side is automatic, and the iPhone side is one quick step in a web app. Copy on your PC, and it's waiting on your phone. Copy on your phone, paste it into the web app, and it's ready on your PC. That's how MoveMyWork works, and this guide walks through both directions.

Windows → iPhone
1. Set up the Windows side once
Create a free account, then install the desktop app from the download page. It sits in your system tray and syncs whatever you copy — text, links, files — automatically. No window to babysit.
2. Open the web app on your iPhone
Go to movemywork.com in Safari and sign in. Your clipboard history is right there: everything you've copied on the PC, newest first. Tap a clip to copy it to your iPhone's clipboard, then paste it wherever you need it — Messages, Safari, Notes, anywhere.
3. Optional: put it on your Home Screen
If you'll do this often, add the site to your Home Screen so it opens like an app with its own icon — one tap instead of typing a URL. The two-minute setup is in our Add to iPhone Home Screen guide.
iPhone → Windows
This direction has the manual step, because iOS won't let us see what you copied. It's still quick:
- Copy the text or link on your iPhone as usual.
- Open MoveMyWork (Home Screen icon or Safari) and paste it into the new-clip box. Photos and files upload from the same screen.
- On your PC, it appears in your history within a couple of seconds — the tray app puts new clips straight onto your Windows clipboard, so you can just press Ctrl+V.

Frequently asked
Can any app sync my iPhone clipboard automatically?
No. iOS does not let apps read the clipboard in the background, so no tool — ours included — can auto-sync from an iPhone. Anything claiming otherwise is overselling.
Do I need to install anything on the iPhone?
No. You use the web app in Safari. Adding it to your Home Screen makes it open like an app, but that is optional.
Does this work when the two devices are on different networks?
