Terms of Service

Welcome to MoveMyWork ("we", "us", the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who we are

MoveMyWork is operated by MoveMyWork. You can reach us at support@movemywork.com.

2. Your account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secret. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age to form a binding contract in your country, whichever is older).

3. What the Service does

The Service synchronises clipboard content (text, links, and files) between devices you control, via your account. Storage is capped per-account. Text clips, links, and todos are retained while your account is active. On the Free plan, file clips are retained for 30 days from upload, then moved to an archive for a further 30 days during which they remain recoverable by upgrading to Pro, after which they are permanently deleted. Email warnings are sent before any file is archived. Pro accounts retain files indefinitely while the account remains active; an extended period of account inactivity may trigger warning emails and eventual deletion of Pro file content, with at least 30 days' notice.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and transmit your content solely so that we can provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership and we do not sell your content.

6. Fees

The Service is currently offered at no charge with the limits described in your account's Settings page. We may introduce paid tiers in the future, with at least 30 days' notice to existing users.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may perform maintenance, release updates, or take the Service offline as necessary.

8. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you acknowledge and agree to that policy.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings; this removes all your content within a reasonable period. We may terminate or suspend accounts that breach these Terms, with or without notice.

10. Disclaimer & liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of your use of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) £100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
