Everything MoveMyWork does, in one page. If you've ever emailed yourself a link to open on your phone — this is the thing that stops you doing that.
The core feature
Install a small desktop client on every machine. Anything you copy appears on every other device within seconds. Text, URLs, and files up to 100 MB. No limits on devices per account.
On mobile, use the web app — it's responsive, fast, and doesn't pretend to be native. You won't miss a real iOS app.
For when someone else needs the clip
Click Share on any clip. Choose whether to protect it with a passphrase, pick how long it should live (an hour, a day, a week, a month), and optionally cap the number of times it can be viewed. You get a short URL to paste into Slack, an email, a DM.
Five wrong passphrase attempts locks the link for fifteen minutes — far too slow to brute-force anything. Revoke instantly from Settings when you're done. Links that expire vanish from your shares list; links that haven't expired keep the original clip pinned so they don't get auto-pruned out from under you.
With sensible remembered-device logic
Every sign-in from a new browser gets a 6-digit code emailed to you. Once you tick "Trust this device", MoveMyWork remembers it for thirty days — you don't get pestered for a code every time you reload the dashboard.
Trusted devices are listed in Settings. You can revoke any of them from any other trusted device. If someone new tries to sign in from a browser you haven't seen before, you get an email about it.
Because "unlimited" is a lie
1 GB of storage per free account. The dashboard shows how much you've used. Files beyond 100 MB each are rejected at upload. Old clips get pruned after 50 newer ones push them out — except clips with active shares, which stay pinned until the share expires.
We don't oversell storage we can't deliver. If you need more, the Pro tier (coming soon) raises the limits to something bigger and honest.
PHP 8 + MySQL. Nothing exotic.
Would rather run MoveMyWork on your own server? The entire codebase is straightforward PHP and MySQL. No Docker-only deployments, no SaaS lock-in libraries, no vendor-specific tooling required. If you've ever set up WordPress, you can set up MoveMyWork.
Self-hosting means your clips never touch our servers. Your domain, your DB, your disk. We don't know you exist.
GDPR hard-delete. Really.
Settings → Delete Account. Type DELETE, enter your password, click the button. Your account, clips, files, shares, and devices are permanently removed. No "we'll keep it for 30 days in case you change your mind". Gone means gone.
