What Pushbullet does that we don't
Credit where due: Pushbullet's best features are ones MoveMyWork simply doesn't have. It mirrors your Android phone's notifications to your PC, and it lets you send and reply to SMS from your keyboard. If either of those is the thing you're actually after, stop reading — Pushbullet is the tool for that job, and it's long been solid on Windows plus Android.
Where Pushbullet gets tight
The squeeze is on files and on iPhone. At the time of writing, the free plan caps files at 25 MB and limits how many messages you can send each month; Pro raises the file cap to 1 GB. And iOS support has been weak for years — if half your life is an iPhone, Pushbullet is a hard sell.
What MoveMyWork does differently
MoveMyWork is a clipboard and file relay. Copy on one device, paste on another; drop a file on one machine, pick it up on the next. The free plan takes files up to 250 MB — well past Pushbullet's free cap — with 3 GB of storage. Everything lands in a searchable history, and any clip or file can become a share link with a passphrase, expiry and revoke, free, for someone who has no account at all.
On iPhone it's the web app — the full product in Safari, or added to your Home Screen. Honest caveat that applies to every tool in this category: phones don't allow background clipboard sync, so on mobile you open the app and paste into it or copy out of it. When Pushbullet is the better choice
Android phone, Windows PC, and what you want is your phone's life — notifications, texts — on your monitor: Pushbullet, no contest. Its free tier is also perfectly adequate if the things you move are links and small files. Pick MoveMyWork when the things you move are bigger, when you want a history you can search next week, when you need to hand a file to a third party via a link, or when one of your devices is an iPhone.
